Goodbye my friend

Yesterday I got the sad news that a friend I had met on a chatboard several years ago had drowned. He was the sweetest person ever. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and two little boys.

Goodbye Doogie. Thank you for the laughter.

Checking in

May is nearly over with and I haven't posted since January?! Bad bad girl. Nothing much is happening. I'm happy I've got Saturdays off now from work. They are so boring. Nobody comes in but the nut jobs who don't know what they want and have to ask a thousand questions and then usually leave without buying anything.

I'm trying real hard not to spend a lot of money. So for now I'm only getting the necessities and won't be tempted into splurging on goodies. I'm running out of room for them.

Long time....no blog

No excuses either. I've been really busy with work and other things but I'm going to take a breather for a few days. I'm off to see my sister and her family. Loud, raucous bunch. Not really. Just the kids.

Pete Townshend is blogging again. I'm so thrilled. I don't know that I will be able to contribute anything of value as far as comments go. Words of praise. I'm sure it's all been said a million times. I will be loving every minute of it.
