With everyone buzzing about the Gretzky scandal this is probably the second biggest story to come out of this year's winter olympics. This is the story that breaks my heart. Michelle Kwan is more than deserving of a gold medal IMO but fate has decided it's not going to happen. Watching the ladies figureskating competition just won't be the same this year.

To be so dedicated, and to have won everything but this. I can not even begin to know how she feels. She did have the good sense to withdraw. I am sure she still has many good things in store for us.
