Let's see you get up and put on a show like Roger Daltrey did last night when you've got bronchitis. Oh and I'd like to hear you pull off the scream at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again like Roger did last night.
I more than got my money's worth last night. From all the cheering and clapping and whistling going on I'd say the crowd last night were far from disappointed.
I hope you get well Roger. Enjoy your rest. You've earned it.

Elaine, I agree. Actually, I felt that his singing came across as maybe even more passionate than when he's not sick. Does that make sense?
I was amazed that he could play harmonica with bronchitis. That was the most astonishing thing he did all night. I was surprised that the reviewers didn't mention it.
I have this lyric in my head: "Are we breathing out or breathing in?" appropros to the whole Roger discussion, but wow, those songs are really sticking in my head now. I listen to the new CD in my car a lot. You too?
Sorry we didn't get to say hi at the bookstore. I thought I might have seen you at one point but wasn't able to make it over to say hi. Did you get photos there? I took some of Rachel and Pete singing, and one of me and Mikey smiling, and a little video of "Just Breathe" and one of "Sunrise." But meeting Pete and Rachel, I wanted to stay in the moment and not spend my 40 seconds of their time posing.
Happy Christmas!

Hi Brina,
Yes it's a shame we didn't run into each at Barnes&Noble. I got there with my sister and saw Mikey and he came over and chatted for a while. Unfortunely I didn't bring a camera. We had to leave as soon as we were finished with meeting Pete and Rachel because we had to rush to 6th street and catch a bus to St. Paul. A magical unforgettable day all around.
